1,694 multihull fitments documented
Two engines. Two propellers. Twice the reason to get it right.
Nobody in Australia has propped more production catamarans: every gain — fuel, revs, drag — doubles across twin drivetrains, and every mismatch does too. Handed pairs, saildrive splines and twin sizing symmetry are daily work here.
Why cats are different
The three rules of multihull props
Handed pairs, always
Left-hand and right-hand rotation, matched, so thrust and prop walk are symmetric — the difference between spinning a cat in its own length and embarrassing yourself at the fuel dock.
Saildrive spline fitment
Most modern cats run Volvo or Yanmar saildrives — spline, anode and clearance details differ from shaft boats and we confirm them against the drive model, not the brochure.
Light-air motor-sailing is the use case
Cats motor-sail long miles on one or both engines. Self-pitching Autoprops keep whichever engine is running properly loaded — the biggest documented gains in the fleet.

Start the Builder with your model — twin fitments pre-fill as a handed pair and an engineer verifies both sides.
