The guarantee
We won't supply a propeller we don't believe in.
That sentence is company behaviour, not copywriting — Bruntons walks away from wrong-fit sales. Here's the whole promise, plainly worded.
“We do not have a single customer that hasn't improved their performance.”
What we promise
- Every recommendation is engineered, then verified. The Builder's output is indicative; a Bruntons engineer checks power, RPM, ratio, shaft and clearance before anything is confirmed. No self-serve purchase path exists on this site, by design.
- If we don't think it will work, we won't sell it. Poor water flow behind a heavy deadwood, worn drivetrains, mismatched reduction ratios — when the physics argues, we side with the physics and tell you why.
- Claims stay conservative and attributed. The numbers we publish — 300–400 fewer rpm, up to 20% fuel, up to a knot under sail — carry their sources, their bands and their assumptions. Bigger figures get named owners or named tests.
- We stand behind the fit. Supplied, fitted and serviced with a real workshop behind it — Queenscliff, VIC — not a dropshipped box.
What we ask of you
Honest inputs. The promise works because sizing starts from your boat's true numbers — engine plate, gearbox plate, real usage. The Builder is built to collect exactly that, and to flag anything an engineer should question.
